HE Khalid Ali Abel, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Viet Nam, met with HE Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The meeting discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them.

Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met Friday in Hanoi with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam HE Nguyen Minh Hang. Discussions during the meeting dealt with cooperation relations between the two countries and means to support and develop them, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.

The Minister of State for International Cooperation of the State of Qatar, HE Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, delivered a speech during the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, held in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi. Her Excellency affirmed that the convention represents a pivotal step toward strengthening global digital security and reflects the international community’s commitment to collectively and coherently addressing cyber threats.

On October 25, The State of Qatar signed the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime during an official ceremony held in Hanoi, Vietnam, with broad international participation. The Convention was signed on behalf of the State of Qatar by HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.

The Chargé d'Affaires, Mr. Faisal Bakhit Almarri, organized a sports event in celebration of Qatar’s National Sports Day in Hanoi. with participation of the embassy staff and Vietnamese citizens, the event included bowling and various other activities.

On May 8th, 2024, H.E Mr. Sok Chenda Sophea - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs received H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two countries.

On May 8th, 2024, H.E Mr. Hun Sen - President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia received H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two countries.

On May 7th, 2024, H.E Hun Manet - Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia received H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia. During the meeting they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two countries.

On May 6th, 2024, H.E Dr. HANG Chuon Naron - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia received H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia. During the meeting they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two countries.

On May 6th, 2024, H.E Mr. Heng Sour - Minister of Labor and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Cambodia received H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia. During the meeting they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two countries.
