On Sunday, Mars 31, H.E Ambassador Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam hosted Iftar supported by Qatar Charity in the capital Hanoi.

On November 3rd, 2023, Her Excellency Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam received H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the state of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, During the meeting they discussed ways to enhance relations between the two countries.

On October 26th, 2023, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received the credentials of H.E Mr. Khalid Ali Abdullah Abel, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (Non-Resident) of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

On Wednesday the 25th of October 2023, His Excellency Mr. Ouk Pheang - Director of the Protocol Department of the Kingdom of Cambodia received a copy of the Credentials appointing H.E Mr. Khaled Abdullah Abel - the resident Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to be the non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

On October 9th, 2023, H.E Mr. Bui Thanh Son - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, received H.E Khaled Abdullah Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. During the meeting they discussed ways to enhance the relations between the two countries.

The Shura Council is participating in a parliamentary meeting on science for peace that began today in the province of Quy Nhon, Vietnam, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union under the theme 'Water security and insecurity: Rebuilding peaceful coexistence with science'. The Council is represented at the meeting, which lasts three days, by member of the Shura Council H.E Mohammed bin Mahdi Al Ahbabi, who is the chairman of the Permanent Committee for International Peace and Security at the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Minister of Construction H.E Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi received H.E Mr. Khaled Abdullah Abel, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Vietnam, they discussed ways to strengthening cooperation relations and exchanging experiences in the field of construction engineering and infrastructure.

On August 28th, 2023, at the headquarter of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), H.E. Mr. Khaled Abdullah Abel, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Vietnam had a working session with H.E Mr. Pham Tan Cong, VCCI President. The two sides discussed the practical opportunities to further promote economic cooperation between the two countries.

On August 17th, 2023, at the headquarter of the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), H.E. Mr. Khaled Abdullah Abel, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Vietnam, had a working session with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh, Chairman of SCIC, to discuss about the cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the fields of investment and trade promotion.

On Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, His Excellency Mr. To Lam - Minister of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam received His Excellency Mr. Khaled Abel - Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Hanoi. The meeting reviewed ways to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.
