His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, paid an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from 14 to 15 August 2022 at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

During their meeting, the two ministers reviewed the bilateral relation and ways to strengthen it, especially in the fields of economy, investment and agriculture, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

After the meeting, the two ministers signed an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and special passports.
